Forgotten In My Closet

I swear my closet is a treasure trove of surprises! As I was cleaning it out and doing the mandatory summer to winter swap, I came across this top that I had purchased this past summer at a 50% off sale...

I got it for something like $22 - or was it $12? Either way it was a bargain. While the oversized style isn't something I usually go for, the not quite olive color, super soft fabric and details made me fall for it. I had only worn it once and then it disappeared into the depths of that all too small space of a wardrobe.

(Back view.) I love the rusching down the back, it sort of becomes skeletal. To top it all off, it's so comfortable which, after a few weeks of crazy allergies, is exactly what I've been needing.

So what amazing finds have you lost and refound in your closet?

Wow! That is a phenomenal top - I am so glad that you refound it; it looks amazing on you! I recently refound a Forever 21 tweed double-breasted Grandpa sweater/cardigan that I bought over a year ago, wore once, and promptly forgot about. Now I can't take it off!! :)

I also have this little "corner of a closet" where all the best pieces are hiding from me, hehe. I love finding them and wearing them as new ones :). The dress is really nice, specially in the back :).

Hey babe, LOVE that top, the ruche detailing is amazing, and I am guilty of the same "sin" too, overcrowded closet and when it's time to cleaning up, I would usually find lots of items that hasn't been worn :), guilty as charged :))

Wishing you a beautiful day

XOXO

I love re-finding things in my closet and it happens all the time. Mostly because I have too much clothes :( haha any way, I love this olive green top on you! Complements your hair colour and I love the way it drapes.

I love slouchy tops with fitted bottoms-- what a great find! I've been discovering shoes in my closet lately, particularly heels from past seasons that I never got around to wearing. I'm still trying to get up the nerve to wear them with cute socks!
