Another alteration in My Closet - Menswear Capris

Way back in September I had debated on how to adapt these capris to make them look better on me...

The length and wide width of the legs were not working for me, but the waist fit nicely and I love the menswear fabric...

You can't tell but this tiny plaid has a thread of silver running through it, Love!

I finally decided to just go for the chop and turn them into shorts. Best choice! I considered going shorter but at a little longer length and I can wear them with just about anything, (I'm looking forward to trying a crisp white button down shirt, maybe a tie and sweater vest...total prep!) But today I went for an unexpected sheer blouse and cross cuff...

I hardly ever have pictures of my accessories but I have a lot so I've been trying to add them into my outfit posts more often...

And you've probably seen these a million times but be prepared to see them a million more because I love them!

I have more capris to alter...not sure how I got that many considering how much I dislike how they look on me...I guess I'll be well stocked on shorts this summer!

The newly altered shorts look great on you! They hit the perfect spot between not too short but enough to flatter the leg. Great job hun!

my internship will be next year next summer, so i don't know. The lady was implying i need to leave houston and go somewhere like NYC, she implied i could make it, so i need to look into that with my department about those opportunities, don't worry, I'll blog everything lol
