Well, maybe I could try it over a skinny jean. It did require me to go hunting for the perfect slip, though I'm not sure how I went so long without owning a decent slip and they're not as easy to find as one would think! I ended up with something more like a long, cotton tank top which (I hope) will be a little more comfortable in the summer heat. Anyway, the dress itself is the perfect backdrop to almost any accessory and today I wore some of my favorites...
I will always pull out these old snake print pointy toe (perhaps too pointy,) pumps from Nine West when the opportunity comes up. There's just something about them that I can't put my finger on but I can't resist them. They definitely felt right today!
Yup, I have 2 of these necklaces. The other is blue as posted here. They were bargains and I couldn't decide between the two. To my surprise, I wear them both equally. The blue would also be nice with this navy snake skin clutch that I snagged at the Hunt Gather Style pop up shop during SXSW. The HGS ladies are fabulous! This was my second time to check out their goodies and I knew this would be mine the second I saw it! This little card was inside of it...
It sort of makes it even more special!Hmmm...I just noticed 2 snake prints in one outfit...too much? I mean, I didn't carry around the clutch all day with me while I was at work...oh well, too late!
