I read somewhere that fur would look good with plaid. I don't remember where I read it but it got me thinking. Here's a pair that I love but never wear. I had to rummage a bit but was delighted that they were of the "skinny" cut. (I'm not sure my thighs were as excited...) So what next? Not feeling the punk vibe, boots were out, but my preppy high heeled oxfords stood up to the plaid quite nicely. I decided to go simple on the top with a gray t-shirt that doesn't compete with the pants. And the fur collar really does work. A little bling with the spider broach makes the look slightly tougher, but I like it. This is funkier than I can wear to work, but it's perfect for the day off, and off I am to run errands!J.
