I Finally Get to Take This Out Of My Closet- Eyelet Dress

First let me say, I wore white today and didn't spill anything on myself!  (Thank you, thank you very much.)  I'm not bragging, I consider that a win for the day.
Anyway, being that we are supposedly into the Spring season, (the last few days have not been very warm here,) I finally decided that today the time was right for eyelet...

and to be honest, it's a lot of eyelet!  The skirt actually has a slight bubble to it and it's more fabric and pouf than I'm used to.  There's more heft to it than one would imagine for eyelet!  But it's so darn pretty and I've been waiting since September to wear it.  It's a shame that I only wore it to work.  Anyway, the broach is a vintage piece from the BF's great aunt.

What are waiting to wear this spring?

New Additions To My Closet- New Shoes

Yup, it's new shoe season! I bought 2 pair, one is fun, and one is more classic, and I'm stopping there...at least for now.

This fun pair I happened upon while out with Grechen and Sydney, (I hope I spelled your name right!)

They might be a little big but they are so comfortable! Since they were originally marked $149 then reduced to $37 plus tax, I couldn't go wrong! They'll be perfect with a wide legged jean this spring!

The other more classic style is a pair from Aldo...

I had been hunting for a more traditional pair of platform style pumps since October and was even prepared to spend a little more on a certain designer pair, but believe it or not, having a small foot makes it hard to shop for shoes. Since the recession hit stores have cut back on inventory and either carry only one pair of size 5 or none at all...you may have heard me rant about this before. (If I'm going to invest they need to fit!)
Anyway, after finally deciding on black (vs. nude) I decided to just break down and buy something and that something happened to be these. Instead of being encased by the shoe, the open sides make for a longer leg line, (which is something I'll never stop dreaming of.) They seem comfortable so far but they have yet to have a true 8 hour day in them. You have to break them in somehow, right?

What are you planning on buying for spring?

Closet Dreaming-Prada Purses Perfect for Spring

Prada has exactly what I want for my spring purse wardrobe, even if it's only a dream...

Do I even need to say anything about the Ruched-Top Satchel? The color, the style, the size...everything is perfect! It would become an instant, everyday classic in my closet because it would go with everything. (Yes, my neutrals obsession continues.)

How much could one pack into the Saffiano Lux Tote? I'd love to find out! The royal blue shade with the Khaki/Military trend could make for a new favorite color/style combo for me this season.

Sweet and ladylike, the Straw and Leather Shopper...boyfriend jeans and the tallest wedges with a simple white tee...sign me up! Or a with a floral romper and sandals would be perfect for a Saturday at the Farmer's Market. Much more versatile than one would think.

So pristine! Simple shape, so sophisticated in white with gold...I think the Saffiano Frame Clutch is heaven as a purse!

I'd be living naked in the street with only these purses to love.
